"This is Just to Say" is a poem by William Carlos Williams (from NJ–represent!). It has become almost a hobby for poets to write their own versions of "This is Just to Say." It is a poem that is essentially an unapologetic way of apologizing. There is no actual apology in the poem, even though one is due.
